Should my mom get a new doctor (in ontario)?

This doctor is a quack. We have our problems here in Michigan with high costs, but at least we generally get good, timely care. I had a friend in Sarnia, Ontario who passed away at a young age when he might have had a better chance here in Mich. You're right, anti-depressants + autism = very bad! If you can afford the time and cost, I highly recommend you come to Detroit for your health care. If you do go back to that doctor, just tell her what you know and what you feel the problem/treatment you feel is right. Doctors aren't always correct - and in this case, it appears she is dangerously lacking knowledge, and probably has too little time or desire to pay attention to detail. Better yet, educate yourselves as you already do. Treat yourselves to good nutrition and supplement if necessary. Go to the doctor and take their drugs as a last resort. Best of luck!
